This little heater is awesome, but the only reason I gave it 4/5 is because it was advertised as infrared, which is *supposed* to be invisible light! This is TOTALLY visible light! For my purposes it's no big deal, but if you want this in your room while you're sleeping or something you're not going to be a happy customer. "Infrared" is misleading. This is a visible halogen light. Otherwise, excellent product. -- Infrared? I don't think so?

i love this heater and had the version with the remote control.. it comes with a 1 yr. warranty.. mine stopped emitting heat and light after having it for 1 yr. and 2 months.. that sucks! called windchaser and they advised me to trash it.. -- stopped working 2 mo. after 1 yr. warranty

I purchased one as a gift and one for my own home. We both are amazed at the amount and pleasantness of the heat output from this heater. This heat concept was new to both of us, and I did not want to sink large amounts of money into something so unknown. We are so pleased that we are considering larger units for our homes.
