I put this unit in my sons room, the coldest room in the house to supplement for a wood stove in the living room. It raises the temp in a 12 by 14 room by 5 degrees in about 20 minutes. It cycles on and off and is very cheap to run. I am pleased and will be buying more for my shop and to have on hand as a back up heat source. -- Good heat output

As a long time pelonis owner, I replaced it with a new pelonis that is very much like the original. The first one lasted at least 15 years. It would have been senseless to replace it with something inferior. We use it in conjunction with central heat, to keep the central heat from warming up areas we are not occupying. This also helps with the utility bill. -- worth replacing

Very satisfactory for area heating. I use in front of my sliding glass patio door which is on the north facing wall of my home. I have owned one of these disc furnaces since in the 1980s. My original furnace is working still. I ordered a second one to use in my bathroom.
