This heater looks exactly like one I had from another manufacturer. Both put out good heat. However, the thermostat on the Patton broke within the first year.
The other brand lasted more than 5 years. Would not buy another Patton. -- Disappointed

I can't tell the difference between low and high mode. According to the manual low is 1350 watts and high is 1500 watts, which seems pretty worthless. What it should have is a low/high switch for the fan, which is way too loud to be useful in any small indoor area. Very annoying as an underdesk office heater (which it's being used at). But it does warm up the room nicely and the 2 prong plug makes it usable with my Ikea lamp timer switch. With the built in thermostat and that switch I can control what time it turns on and only if it's cold enough. I will replace this heater in the future because it's so loud, but for $17 dollars at Fred Meyers, it's good enough for now. -- Noisy but it works

This is my 4th milkhouse heater in 12 years. I use my heater daily almost 9 months out of the year. I love them for heating up a small room quickly and safely. The only complaint on this new version is that there is no OFF button. It is always on with the button lit up. Unplugging and plugging it in is a pain. But it saves on the energy bill and so I do it. -- Milk House Heaters

This is the best small electric heater I have found--and I have used a lot of electric floor heaters. It is easy to use-uncomplicated. It turns off if you tip it over so it is safe. It doesn't overheat and turn itself off like many others. It seems to have a feature that causes it just to not overheat. I have left it on all night with no problems. -- GREAT HEATER
