This is a nice product and like the thermostat control, for the price good. Our problem with the unit is that after a few times of using it, it then sat for a short period before use again. When we started the unit back up we noticed a very offensive smell that won't go away. I would be curious if anyone else has that problem. I didn't notice one other review with that comment. -- smelly

I purchased this heater due to the cold weather we had in Miami, Florida. My house has no heat and does not have quality insulation or double payne windows.

Before the heater the house was the same temperature as the outdoors come early morning. The heater heats a large 12x16 room in about ten minutes and keeps it comfortable with little effort.

It is light, compact, and quiet. It can be moved to another room and in just a few minutes that room is comfortable.

When I lived in upstate New York, we had an oil filled heater. This works better and is more efficient. I would reccomend this heater to anyone, especially someone who needs one more than I do.

I've had this heater for two months and use it nightly. It is in a bedroom below the attic that gets colder than the rest of the house. I had tried several things to keep this room warm for sleeping - warmer quilts, heating pad, wearing socks to bed - but my children were still cold throughout the night. This heater solved our problem. The temperature is set to 63 at night and is perfect for sleeping. Also the room itself if cozy which the warmer quilts couldn't help. Now the kids can enjoy being in the room, doing homework and just hanging out.

The price for this item is very reasonable. It has some great features for the price too. I really like the temperature setting where you can set it to the exact temperature that works for you! Also the timer is a great feature. It also has a lever where you can direct the heat. I've found this useful as the top bunk bed in this room would be especially cold so I can now direct the heat in that direction.

This is also a stylish, attractive heater that looks good in the room. It is very streamlined and fits right up against the wall. I had lots of options on where to place it because it is so slim. The fact that it is slim will also help when it is time to store it during the summer months.
