I have to say I've enjoyed my unit. It's the only heat I've had in my large north-east exposure, 2nd floor bedroom over a 2-car garage and still kept it toasty warm. We've had cold weather - much more snow than we've ever had at one time - and it's been a great little heater. I doubt the thermostat is correct ... I just adjust it up or down as needed. So glad I got it. The 2 Laskos I had were very loud and ineffective. They stopped after only a couple of weeks and not during our coldest weather. This has been very quiet and I really like it. I bought mine from Amazon, and now I see it's sold by a vendor I won't use at $11 higher price than I paid. I bought mine mid-December 2009.

It's been safe to have around my small dog and my 2 yr. old grand-daughter. I would buy it again if Amazon is the vendor and it is a reasonable price.

We ordered a Holmes space heater because of the unusually cold winter in Florida. The device operates quietly as advertized. It has a single button temperature setting scheme where you tap on the same button to cycle through the settings. Temperature increments are in 5 deg. Farhenheit steps which was adequate for our needs. The device easily keeps a 13 x 15 room warm when set to 70deg. and the doors are shut to keep the heat in.

Overall, for $50 we are very satisfied with the product. I think the product has a 3 year warranty (buyer please verifybefore purchase!). Let's see if it operates as quietly over time as it does when new. -- Holmes Space Heater

Holmes ceramic heater gives sufficient heat to warm a large room. In addition the heater is silent. Best heater for $32.00 purchased at Amazon. -- No Problems

The heater came later than I expected and there was no way I could track the product since the seller didn't put a good tracking number (if it was real). I tried contacting the seller, but they didn't respond. I did get it in good condition and it works great. -- Great condition and works well, but slow delivery.
