This heater works quite well in taking the chill off of a 16 X 15' bedroom. There was no initial oil smell. Plugged it in and was very pleased with the toasty results. I will probably buy another one. -- very effective

This heater is pretty good. It doesn't make any noise, so it's much nicer than those fan heaters in that respect. It also didn't produce any unpleasant odors, as some people warned it might. It doesn't produce quite as much heat as we'd hoped, but I think we'll keep it. -- Quiet and odorless heater

Like this product very much - compact - heats well - neat looking - moves well on wood flooring - don't know yet about savings on electricty as I haven't had it long enough.

It takes a while to heat up, but eventually heats my small (9x12) office well, even on Low. I haven't tried it in below--freezing temperatures, but I imagine High could manage that. -- pretty good at heating small space
