The motor driven swiveling structure distributes warm air throughout the room but has a tip over safety switch that automatically turns the heater off if it accidentally falls over.

I really love this heater. We use it to heat a toddlers room in the winter months when we leave the night time temp lower then we would want for him.

The only reason it doesn't get 4 stars is the confirmation beeps. They are LOUD. I make sure to turn it on before he goes to sleep, I don't think the beeps would wake him, but they are loud. I guess the only positive of that is you know when he is pushing buttons.

The heater really is great. Quiet, and it puts out a lot of heat. I would guess it's about 10 minutes it will heat the room 5-10 degrees and maintain it within a couple of degrees. This is the second fan blown heater we have bought, and this is by far the better of the two. The other nice thing with a toddler is that the face is hot when working, but not instant burn hot. You would have to hold your hand there 5-10 seconds before it was hot enough to burn, so far my kid is smart enough to hold his hand on a hot surface for that long.

A well designed ceramic heater, efficient for its size, rather quiet when operating. However, it would have been better with a 24 hour clock timer but not a "sleep" timer. Overall, I am happy with it. Delivery took 3 days more than expected. -- delonghi heater
